C & L were visiting Colorado, and wanted their engagement photos done on their trip!

We found a beautiful spot (Red Rock Canyon Open Space) that captured the scenery of Colorado Springs. It’s a stunning location that’s not as busy as the ever-popular Garden of the Gods, and very accessible to anyone.

Engagement photos are such a fun way to capture your love and excitement as you get ready for marriage! When choosing the location, you could pick a sentimental spot where you have history together, or go somewhere new and different. C hired an artist to handcraft L’s ring for her! The details are so stunning. L is a jewellery artist herself so this detail meant a lot to her.

The way they love each other is so sweet! My method of shooting photos is very documentary style; to guide and then observe; giving suggestions and direction. This creates real moments of connection, and then I step back to allow the moment to unfold.
